ATV Crash in Big Dune Recreation Area in the Amargosa Valley Left 2 Severely Injured
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 23, 2022) – Sunday, an ATV crash in Amargosa Valley left two people severely injured.
The incident happened on September 20th, at Big Dune Recreation Area in the Amargosa Valley.
According to reports, an ATV was involved in a “multi-rotation rollover”. The impact of the collision left the occupants of the vehicle with severe injuries.
Several agencies responded to the scene including Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue, Amargosa Fire, Beatty Ambulance, and NCSO. Medics at the site reported that one person lost his arm and another person suffered broken legs.
Crews closed down the area surrounding the crash for a short time to perform cleanup and preliminary duties.
